Consumer Unity and Trust Society Unhappy
With Uniform Fuel Prices

Consumer Unity And Trust Society -Cuts- International has expressed sadness with the Zambian government’s move to introduce the Uniform Pump Price in the country.

CUTS International Zambia Centre Coordinator Patrick Chengo says this has been done at the expense of urban dwellers.

Mr. Chengo adds that urban motorists have seen a hike which is retrogressive on economic development.

He says Zambia already has high fuel prices which need to be addressed but government is still increasing.

Mr. Chengo was speaking in an interview with Muvi TV Business News in Lusaka.
