International is seeking to recruit a suitable
person as Director (Finance and
Administration) for its head office at
Jaipur, Rajasthan, India. The vacancy is at a
senior managerial level and would call for,
besides honesty and integrity, proven ability to
handle related functions independently.
The
candidate should be a CA/ICWA with a minimum of
12 years of relevant experience. S/he should be
around 42-45 years of age. Previous experience
of working with a large NGO in the related field
would be an added advantage. Women candidates
are encouraged to apply, as CUTS International

The
other essential requisite is proficiency in both
written and spoken English, as the position
would require dealing with international
organisations. Working knowledge of Hindi
additionally is also preferred. Key
responsibilities would include:

Overall supervision of the finance and
administration functions

Fund management (receipts, payments, cash
and bank transactions, cash and fund flow
etc.) including FCRA
-
Internal and statutory audit, quarterly and
yearly balance sheet
-
Project-related financial planning, follow
up with funding agencies, submission of
compliance and narrative reports
-
Financial coordination among various centres
of the organisation in India and overseas
-
Taxation, Provident Fund, Gratuity and other
statutory compliances
-
Liaison with banks and other organisations
-
General office administration.
Compensation
Compensation would not be a limiting factor for
