Access grows to remote provinces

HA NOI — The Viet Nam Expressway Corporation is accelerating the appraisal of technical designs for the much-anticipated highway linking the northern border province of Lao Cai to Noi Bai Airport in Ha Noi. The highway will connect provinces of Lao Cai, Yen Bai, Phu Tho, Vinh Phuc through to Ha Noi. With the length of 244km, it should shorten the travel time between Lao Cai and Ha Noi from the current nine hours (over 350km) to three hours.
