Advocacy Workshop under Farmers’ Rights Programme, Phase -II
Shillong, Meghalaya, December 14, 2006

CUTS Calcutta Resource Centre (CUTS CRC), jointly with Centre for Environmental Studies, North Eastern Hill University organised an Advocacy Workshop under the Farmers’ Rights Programme, Phase-II (FRP-II), at Shillong, Meghalaya, on December 14, 2006. The objective of this workshop was to discuss the project activities under FRP.

Various government officials, media persons, academicians, researchers, non-governmental organisations (NGOs) participated in the workshop and strongly advocated for a pro-farmer policy to preserve the natural resources.
